## ms1008-12 HST source catalog
## Photometric + Bayesian Photometric Redshift (BPZ) catalog (produced 2017-05-09 by Dan Coe)
## based on drizzled 0.06"/pix images (produced 2017-05-09 by Roberto Avila and Sara Ogaz)
## HST observation plan (Phase 2) by Larry Bradley
## HST program coordinated by Bill Januszewski
##
## Note: photo-z estimates are intended for galaxies only
## Stars may be identified as having higher values of SExtracor stellarity
##
## Objects detected by SExtractor (version 2.8.6) in a weighted sum of WFC3/IR images
## Not pruned: a few < 5-sigma detections may remain
## Position, aperture, and shape measurements determined in the detection image
##
## Photometry measured in isophotal apertures by SExtractor in dual-image mode
## For each filter, we provide:
## - AB magnitude & uncertainty
## - flux & uncertainty (electrons / second = native units)
## - flux & uncertainty (nJy = nanoJanskys)
## - detection significance
## - zeropoints to convert native fluxes (e-/s) to AB magnitudes
##
## AB mag = zeropoint - 2.5 * log10(flux) = 31.4 - 2.5 * log10(fluxnJy)
## Magnitude uncertainties correspond to the flux 1-sigma upper limits:
## magerr = 2.5 * log10(1 + fluxerr / flux)
##
## Both fluxes and magnitudes have been corrected for
## galactic extinction: E(B-V) = 0.06010
## based on Schlafly & Finkbeiner 2011 (ApJ 737, 103)
## extracted using http://irsa.ipac.caltech.edu/applications/DUST/docs/dustProgramInterface.html
##
## mag, magerr = 99, 1-sigma limit: non-detection (flux < 0)
## mag, magerr = -99, 0: unobserved (outside FOV, in chip gap, etc.)
##
## For each object, we also provide the brightest magnitude in any filter
## based on the highest observed flux - fluxerr (lower limit)
##
## Bayesian Photometric Redshifts are derived using BPZ (Benitez et al. 2000, 2004; Coe et al. 2006)
## These results are intended for galaxies only.
## (Stars may be pruned as having higher values of SExtractor stellarity.)
## For each object, the most likely redshift and template are given by zb and tb,
## and the 95% confidence range is given by zbmin - zbmax.
## The templates used here are 5 ellipticals (1-5), 2 spirals (6-7), and 4 starburst galaxies (8-11).
## Higher values of tb generally correspond to bluer templates.
## Here we use the origninal Bayesian prior P(z,t | mag) derived from the HDFN (Benitez 2000).
## This prior is less conservative with regard to high redshifts
## than some updated priors used in later works (Benitez+09, Coe+13).
## Objects with high ODDS values have sharply peaked unimodal redshift likelihood distributions.
## Objects with chisq2 < 1 generally have photometry well fit by the model SEDs.
## The "maximum likelihood" (flat prior) redshift zml and type tml are also reported.
